This document describes all the important
fields, how to fill them out, stamps used, typical entries, etc. It is
specifically oriented towards new members of the 272, but the veterans
will find this very useful as well.
All new members will be provided with a Soldbuch and ID Disk
when you join. You will however still need to collect the information
for your impression and fill out your Soldbuch, this document will help
immensely.
Download and print the file. Then write in all the values that
you can into the worksheet. You should contact the
272nd for help, stamps, and information specific for the 272nd.
When you fill this out keep in mind the year you were called up (late
1943), history of the 216/272, Niedersachsen, Wehrkreis XI, etc.
